What is Biological Agriculture?
Biological Agriculture is essentially an agricultural production method developing a systemic approach as regards agricultural concerns, seen as organizations where various mechanisms (soil, cultures, organic substance cycle, rearing, natural environment, flora and fauna) are functionally connected and interacting.
Biological Agriculture is a self sufficient system based on the use of products and processes present in nature, with the exclusion of fertilizers, pesticides and synthetic chemical medicines.
Every “La Finestra sul Cielo” product has been subjected to an accurate selection of ingredients, originating from biological cultivations, which respect the environment. Biological agriculture forbids the use of synthetic chemical substances in the treatments (insecticides, pesticides, weed killers) and certifies only eco-compatible natural cultivation techniques, and excludes the use of OGM raw materials. The entire biological production line, from seed to finished product, is certified by an officially recognized verification Organization.
