Wash the beans and let it soak in cold water for 6-8 hours. Drain, rinse under running water and place in a large pot with about 7-8 glasses of water (1 liter and a half). Bring to a boil and cook over low heat for about 45 minutes. Salted after cooking and season to taste with olive oil, soy sauce or gomasio.
