SEITAN BITES WITH ALMONDS AND VEGETABLES

Ingredients

  • 200 gr or seitan bites
  • 1 handful of almonds
  • 1 tbsp of cornflour
  • 3 tbsps of extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tbsps of shoyu
  • Natural whole sea salt
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 spring onion

Preparation

Clean the carrot and the spring onion and chop them into fine slices. Put the vegetables in a pan with the extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of salt. Stir fry for a few minutes and add the almonds and two tbsps of shoyu. Mix the ingredients and add the seitan bites. Cook while stirring for 5 minutes. Dissolve a tbsp of cornflour in half a glass of water and add it to the seitan; season with two tbsps of shoyu. Cook and stir for a few minutes; the cornflour in contact with the heat will form a creamy sauce.
